Pedata RV Applauds Government's Decision to Distribute Federal Grants to RV Manufacturers

The economy is beginning to turn around. RV rentals have exceeded last year’s and motorhome sales are starting to pick up. Add to that .4 billion in federal grants for next-generation, fuel-efficient vehicles and it’s clear the RV industry could have a future if they jump on the bandwagon.
Among the companies poised to receive federal grants are Monaco Coach in Indiana, Allison Transmission, in Indianapolis; Delphi, in Kokomo; and Magna, in Muncie, reports RV Business. The money comes at a time when job losses have been high in Elkhart County, home of the RV. The federal grant money will secure thousands of jobs and help support a turning economy.
“Out of this tough economy we’ll see some really great innovations in the industry,” says Clint Ethington of Pedata RV Center. “The RV companies that look to the future with newer, greener, more efficient technologies are the companies to watch.”
